“They always say time changes things, but you actually have to change them yourself.”
~ Andy Warhol
This quote speaks to me—it’s a reminder that while we can’t control everything, we can choose to move forward, shift our focus, and stay positive. I’ve done just that by investing in myself and pursuing a full-time career in Instructional Design, staying current with new technologies and trends.
My background in online education has been a huge asset to instructional design and has taught me how to identify learners’ needs and empower them to strive for more. I apply adult learning principles to create training that’s not just informative, but also engaging, relevant, and behavior-driven—connecting the details to the bigger picture.
I love breaking down content into logical, easy-to-digest chunks that keep the cognitive load manageable and support retention. Then, using tools like Storyline, Rise, and Canva, I bring it all together to build interactive, meaningful, creative learning experiences. I'm always open to feedback and aim to create solutions that drive positive change and bottom-line success.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and cats, as well as reading, swimming, hiking, biking, cooking, drawing, and painting—optimistic activities that keep me grounded, inspired, and focused.
